May 1, 2020 Update
We hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and well.
It is our mission at New York Physicians to continue to take exceptional care of you during this difficult and challenging time. As physicians, we are here for you at any time for both coronavirus and non-coronavirus-related health concerns.
As we prepare to re-open our offices, we have carefully considered the best ways to keep our space safe for you. Telemedicine visits have worked remarkably well but we understand that some issues must be evaluated in person and we anticipate gradually bringing a limited number of patients in to the office for routine care and problem-based visits. We look forward to the time when we can see more and more of you in person.
Below, please find our current guideline for in-office visits. As we all know, the current situation is fluid and we will update these guidelines as the situation evolves:
Specific guidelines for in-office visits:
We know that many of you have questions about being tested for the Covid-19 virus and/or being tested for antibodies to the virus. We would love to answer these questions during a telemedicine visit. Currently available antibody testing for immunity to Covid-19 is not very specific or meaningful in many instances. Please contact us to schedule a session to answer your questions and make a plan that is appropriate for your situation.
Your health is important to us. We are available to you and will continue to be here to keep you feeling safe and healthy.
