Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
New York Physicians is committed to your health and to the health of our community as a whole. We encourage every one of you to get vaccinated as soon as you are able. All of the doctors at New York Physicians have gotten the vaccine themselves, support the vaccine and encourage you to get it. Please schedule yours as soon as possible. Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require 2 doses to build strong immunity. The second dose is typically 3-4 weeks after the first.
New York Physicians has been approved by the New York City Department of Health to receive vaccines for our patients. At this time, we do NOT know when the supply becomes available for delivery to us. We will post on this site as soon as we have it in stock.
Starting March 30, ALL NEW YORKERS OVER AGE 30 are eligible to be vaccinated. AS OF APRIL 6, ALL NEW YORKERS OVER AGE 16 ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE VACCINATED.
Please schedule a time to get your vaccine! Protect yourself, your loved ones and your community at the earliest possible date! We know that it is incredibly frustrating but you must keep checking. As vaccines are allocated, appointments open up. It seems the state allocates vaccines on Tuesdays so Wednesdays are often a good day to run through the websites. Some third party sites have opened that scroll through the websites. If you follow them, they will alert you when new appointments open.
