We are pleased to announce that Dr. Alana B. Levine joins New York Physicians in December 2016. Dr. Levine is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She specializes in all areas of rheumatology with an expertise in complex autoimmune diseases, including lupus, as well as pregnant patients with autoimmune disease. After graduating from Williams College, Dr. Levine received her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). She also holds a Masters Degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Dr. Levine began practicing rheumatology at Hospital for Special Surgery as part of the Barbara Volcker Center for Women and Rheumatic Disease. She remains active in teaching fellows and medical students at Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College, as well as in research projects at HSS.
